Rocka Rolla is the debut studio album by the legendary English heavy metal band Judas Priest, released on 6 September 1974 by Gull Records. Produced by Rodger Bain, famous for his work on Black Sabbath's early records. This album presents a raw, blues-tinged hard rock and proto-metal sound that predates the band's definitive, thundering heavy metal style. It remains historically unique as the only studio album to feature drummer John Hinch.
